The Actom High Voltage Equipment division is offering bursaries for the 2026 academic year in the following engineering fields:
- Electrical Engineering (BEng / Bsc)
- Industrial Engineering (BEng / Bsc?
- Mechanical Engineering (BEng / Bsc)
These bursaries are aimed at students who want to build a career in the engineering and energy sector.
Who can Apply?
To qualify, you must be:
- A South African citizen
- In Matric or have already completed Matric
- Studying or planning to study one of the listed engineering qualifications
- Accepted or registered at a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution

Documents You Must Upload
Make sure you attach clear, certified copies of:
- South African ID
- Grade 11 final results and Matric June results (if still in school)
- Matric certificate (if already passed)
- Full academic record if you are currently studying
- Proof of fees and financial requirements from your institution
- Proof of address
- Parents/ guardian income documents:
- Recent payslips, or
- Affidavit if unemployed, or
- Proof of SASSA grant/pension if applicable
