KN Inzuzo Trust Bursary Programme 2026 South Africa


The Kuehne+Nagel Inzuzo Trust was established in 2012 by Kuehne+Nagel, a globally respected transport and logistics company founded in Switzerland in 1890. Today, Kuehne+Nagel operates in more than 100 countries, employing around 79 000 people across 1 300 offices worldwide.

Through the Inzuzo Trust, the company invests in South Africa's future by supporting Black female students who show academic excellence, leadership potential and a strong desire to uplift their communities. The bursary programme focuses on developing skilled professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the country's economic growth.

Fields of study supported 

For the 2026 academic year, the KN Inzuzo Trust will fund undergraduate and postgraduate studies in business, finance, technology and logistics-related qualifications including:
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Financial Management
  • BCom Information System
  • BCom Logistics
  • Diploma in Logistics Management
  • BCom Transport Economics

What the Bursary Covers

  • Bursary funding is paid directly to the university
  • Only shortlisted candidates will move through the selection stages
  • Shortlisted students will attend in-person  interviews in January or February 2026
  • Final bursary recipients will be announced in March 2026
  • Applicants will receive updates at every stage of the process

Who should Apply?

You may apply if you meet all of the following requirements:
  • You are a South African citizen
  • You are Black and female
  • You have completed Matric
  • You are studying full-time towards one of the approved qualifications
  • You will be in 2nd year, 3rd year or postgraduate study in 2026 (First-year students are not eligible)
  • You are registered at a recognised South African university
  • You have achieved at least 60% in your most recent academic year
  • You demonstrate financial need
  • You show leadership qualities and involvement in school, university or community activities
  • Students living with disabilities are encouraged to apply

  2. Submit your application by email or hand delivery

Documents You Must Submit 

Your application must include certified copies of the following:
  • South African ID document
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
  • Matric certificate 
  • Full university academic record (from first year onwards)
  • Proof of university acceptance or provisional acceptance
  • Certificates for academic, leadership, sport or entrepreneurial achivements
  • Reference letter from a high school teacher or university lecturer (signed & stamped)
  • Official university fee statement or quotation
  • Parents\guardian proof of income (payslips, affidavit, pension or SASSA proof)
  • Parent\guardian proof of residence
  • Detailed CV (maximum 4 pages)
