Master Builders Kwazulu-Natal is an employer's organisation that was established in 1901 and comprises more than 700 companies engaged in the construction and building industry within the province of Kwazulu-Natal. The organization is registered under South Africa's Labour Relations Act and plays a significant role in advising and promoting the construction industry. MBKZN offers a wide range of services to its members, including skills training, occuptional health and safety support, labour and legal assistance, employee benefitschemes and business advisory services.
The Master Builder KZN Bursary Programme was founded as an initiative to facilitate the development of much-needed skills in the South African building industry as a whole. The bursary program is aimed at assisting financially eligible students tofinance their studies. The award is to be used for the 2026 academic year and is targeted at students who exhibit academic merit, scholarship and a passion for a career in a construction fiels.
