Moshal is inviting students to apply for funding for the 2026 academic year. The scholarship covers degree programs in STEM and Commerce, offered only at selected universities. These include:

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, you must meet these requirements:
  • Be in Matric or already completed Matric
  • Planning to study in one of the approved fields (listed above) in 2026
  • Accepted or planning to study at one of the partner universities (UCT, WITS, UJ, UP, SUN, UWC, UKZN, NMU, RU, UFS)
  • Achieved at least 70% in English, Maths, Physical Science and\or Accounting
  • Household income below R200 000 per year
  • Must show personal motivation and commitment

How to Apply

You will need to Create an Account before starting your application. 

Documents you must upload

  • ID document
  • Parent\guardian IDs
  • Grade 11 final results
  • Proof of family income (grant letter, affidavit, bank statement, etc.)
  • Passport and study visa if you are not a South African citizen
  • Conset form (if you are under 18)
Take your time, upload clear documents and double-check everything before submitting.

Additional Documents (if shortlisted)

Moshal may ask for:
  • Matric final results
  • Latest university results
  • Acceptance letter
  • NBT scores (if you have them)
  • Proof you applied for other funding
  • Parents\guardian's payslips
If they request extra documents, respond quickly, it shows responsibility and commitment.

Closing Date

31 December 2025
