Mercedes-benz South Africa is inviting eligible students to apply for its bursary programme for the 2026 academic year.
Bursaries wil be awarded for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Business Studies (Sales, Marketing, Communications, After-sales)
- Computer Engineering \ IT \ Software Development
- Finance \ Accounting
- Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Law (Legal and Compliance)
- Human Resources
- Supply Chain \ Logistics
Coverage & Opportunities
The bursary provides financial support for:
- Tuition fees
- Accomodation or transport costs
- Monthly stipend
- Prescribed textbook
- Digital learning allowance
Bursary recipients may also be offered vacation work opportunities at Mercedes-Benz (Menlyn Maine, Pretoria). After graduation, students may be considered for entry into the Mercedes-Benz Graduate Development Programme, depending on performance and business needs.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen (foreign nationals may apply if eligible for a valid work permit)
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be entering 1st or 2nd year of full-time study in 2026
- Must be registered at a recognised public university in South Africa
- Must have achieved a minimum of 70% overall in Matric
- Current students must have at least 65% average
- Must not be an employee of Mercedes-Benz South Africa
- Students with disability are encouraged to apply
