ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER

Mineral Processing Guru (PTY) LTD, commonly referred to as MPG, is a Level 1 mineral processing business that is entirely owned by Black people.  The company was established in 2017 and is in charge of several specialties, including commercial solutions for coal mining.  The company was founded during the mining industry's downturn with the intention of offering reasonably priced services together with effective solutions for mineral processing and support.

 The goal of MPG is to offer its customers coal processing solutions that are optimal, economical, and of the highest caliber.  With the goal of growing its presence and becoming the global leader in mining solutions, MPG wants to dominate the nation's coal and mineral processing industries.

FIELDS COVERED

Students are encouraged to apply for the Mineral Processing Guru Bursary's bursary program for the 2024 academic year.

The bursary is intended for excellent students studying engineering who live in the Emakhazeni Municipality (Mpumalanga).

 The following areas of study will be the focus of the bursary award for engineering students:

• Chemistry
• Industrialism
• Metallurgy
• Mechanism

 The goal of the award is to help students who are struggling financially by enabling them to continue their education.  This is only one of the numerous ways Mineral Processing Guru is committed to building knowledge in the field of mineral processing.

BURSARY FUNDING ARRANGEMENTS

Direct payment of bursary funds will be made to the student's institution will occur

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Before applying, candidates must meet the following minimal standards:

• You have to be a citizen of South Africa.
• You have to live in the Mpumalanga province's Emakhazeni municipality.
• You have to have finished your matriculation.
• You have to be enrolled in one of the aforementioned engineering programs.
• In 2024, you have to be pursuing your first undergraduate degree or diploma.
• You must be enrolled in or intend to enroll in a South African public university or university of technology.
• You have to exhibit academic prowess.
• You must be in need of funding.

if you don't meet them all, your application won't be taken into consideration

Together with your filled-out application, send in clear copies of the following supporting papers:

• Identity document (certified copy)
• Matric statement or certificate (certified copy)
• Complete academic record or transcript (certified copy) if enrolled in an undergraduate program already
• A certified document of proof of enrollment or admission to a postsecondary institution

you must provide these documents; otherwise, your application may be rejected
