Fields Covered

PSG is offering bursary support for the 2026 academic year to students pursuing degrees in high demand technical and analytical fields. The bursary is open to learners studying in one of the following disciplines: 

  • Actuarial Science (BSc)
  • Chemical Engineering (BSc Eng)
  • Computer Engineering (BSc Eng)
  • Computer Science (BSc)
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering (BSc Eng)
  • Industrial Engineering (BSc)
  • Mathematical Science (BSc Eng)
  • Mechanical Engineering (BSc Eng)
These study areas are aligned with PSG's focus on innovation, problem-solving and future-driven financial and engineering expertise.

Financial Coverage

PSG bursary provides comprehensive financial support to help students focus fully on their studies. Successful applicants will receive funding that includes:
  • Registration and full tuition fees
  • Accommodation costs for students staying in approved housing
  • A book allowance to cover prescribed learning materials
  • A meal allowance to support daily living
  • A monthly stipend to assist with additional study-related expenses
Shortlisted students will be notified within 4 weeks of applying. If you don't hear from them by then, consider your application unsuccessful.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the PSG bursary, applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You should have passed Matric and be progressing well in your studies.
  • Your academic results must show strong, consistent performance
  • You need to be studying towards one of the approved degrees listed in the bursary outline
  • You must be in your final undergraduate year or completing postgraduate studies in 2026
  • You should be able to demonstrate a genuine financial need for funding
