Absa invite graduates to apply for the 2025 Absa CSI Trust Graduate Historical Debt Relief Initiative.
This program targets students who have completed degrees in the fields of STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as well as programs aligned with the Digital Economy and the Green Economy. If you completed your qualification but cannot receive your certificate due to outstanding fees, this intervention may help you clear that financial barrier.
Eligible graduates must have studied at one of these institutions:
- University of Limpopo
- University of Venda
- Tshwane University of Technology
- Mangosuthu University of Technology
- University of Zululand
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed STEM-related qualification or a programme aligned with the digital or green economy.
- Must have studied at one of the specified public universities
- Must be unable to graduate because of outstanding student fees.
- Must be unemployed and not currently registered for any studies.
- Must have a household income below R700 000 per year.
