Aurora Wind Power Bursary Aurora Wind Power offers bursaries for 2026 to students living in the West Coast (Western Cape).
Bursaries will be awarded for study at a South African Public University or University of Technology toward an undergraduate qualification (must include, BY LAW: majoring in one of the following SHRI priority skills) not final and/or incomplete The Bursary recipient must have been on track to graduate had the funding continued.
Expenses Covered
The award can fund:
- Tuition and registration fees
- Examination fees
- Study materials (textbooks, stationery, etc.)
- Accommodation and meals
The amount of the grant is set on a case-by-case basis, depending upon financial need and educational success.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility Applicants must:
- Must be South African Citizen
- Have to live on the West coast, Western Cape
- currently in Matricoder10) Held or currently hold matric can be at coast.
- Should be enrolling or enrolled for a 3–4 years degree course.
- Attend a public (no private institutions)—as public colleges receive funding from student education loans.
- Must be from a poor financial background (family earning less than R350 000 per annum)
Because need and merit are factors, the choice is based on need and not simply one of academic ability.
