Goldwind is inviting students to apply for the 2026 academic year through two bursary streams:
1. NESA Bursary (BTech studies in):
- Automation or mechatronics
- Bachelor of Development Studies with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
2. 4RE Bursary (BCom studies in):
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Economics
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Marketing
This bursary programme aims to provide financial support and professional development for students in STEM and business-related fields aligned with Goldwind's operations.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Studying or intending to study towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the eigible fields listed above
- Registered or provisionally accepted at a recognised and accredited higher education institution in South Africa

Applicants must submit clear, copies, certified copies of the following:
- South African ID
- Matric certificate
- Latest academic transcript or record (on official University letterhead)
- Latest tuition fee statement
- Proof of tertiary registration
- Parents or guardians ID documents (certified copies)
- Parents or guardians proof of household income (payslips if employed \ financial statement if self-employed \ affidavit if unemployed)
- Motivational letters:
- Explaining why you chose your field of study
- Explaining why you are applying for the Goldwind bursary
