About SANS Killie Campbell

The constitution outlines the objectives of the South African National Society (SANS). They want to foster a sense of love and respect for South Africa's people as well as its natural, historical, and cultural legacy. In addition to providing general support and publicity to the South African Heritage Resources Agency and the Amafa/Heritage KwaZulu-Natal in their efforts to preserve the nation's cultural resources, the SANS seeks to further foster appreciation for all the elements that are essential to the county's residents.

SANS also assists other bodies or organisations dealing with related tasks. Dr. Killie Campbell was a devoted historian, collector, and Society supporter. Her collection, now known as the Killie Campbell Africana Library, was given to the University of KwaZulu-Natal after her death in 1965. In her remembrance, the Killie Campbell Bursary was established.
